Boulder Flood Relief

Boulder Flood Relief (BFR) was formed on the last day of the 2013 Boulder/Colorado Floods, initially as a hashtag (#BoulderFloodRelief) to coordinate and share communications around the federally-declared natural disaster. Originally named “Occupy Boulder Flood Relief,” BFR was created by a cadre of Occupy veterans, spontaneous volunteers, and graduate students in the Department of Communication at the University of Colorado at Boulder (CU) on September 13, 2013.
