Packing fresh groceries for twelve Palestinian families sheltering at al-Ghorhia Teaching Hospital in downtown Cairo. But it is us who are so full from the food shared with us, and the many examples of generosity, perseverance, and boundless humanity of people who have lost so much, but still find endless wells within themselves to give even more.

Entering Al Marg hospital in Cairo, where we distributed care packages, medication, and other essentials to injured Gazans and their loved ones. Due to the Israeli blockade and siege of Gaza, our coordinators and volunteers, like all humanitarian workers and even medical personnel, are currently unable to access the Gaza Strip to provide necessary aid, but continue to support people impacted by the genocide and ongoing nakba.

MADR network allies and co-conspirators are working to #divest from existing #disastercapitalism models that continue to fund companies that put the most marginalized communities in harms way through #businessasusual and who do little to nothing to help during response.
